The school of Electronics & Communication Engineering has been set up to impart training of the highest standards to the students, in the field of modern technology, thus preparing them to meet the exacting demands of the highly competitive global industrial market.
The school is currently focusing on providing B.Tech., M.Tech. & PhD programs which cover exhaustively the area of Electronics & Communication Engineering.

Aim & Objectives

The purpose to organize AES2019 is to encourage the international and industry collaboration in the field and disciplines of Engineering Sciences. AES2019 aims to provide an important and vibrant forum for the researchers, academicians, scientists and industrial practitioners to share and discuss their original research work, patents, research findings and practical development experiences in the emerging areas.

The idea of this conference is to create awareness and to provide a perfect platform for the participants to upgrade their knowledge and experience. This conference reflects the current focus of global research, recent developments, interdisciplinary research and practices in the fields of Engineering Sciences.

About the Conference

    The 1st International Conference on Advancement in Engineering Sciences (AES2019) is being organized by the School of Electronics & Communication Engineering, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, Katra from 28th to 29th September 2019. The aim of the conference is to bring the researcher, academician, industry participants and students together on a common platform to discuss their new ideas, experiences, research findings in all aspects of the Engineering Sciences. The scope of AES2019 is very wide and covering all the important and emerging topics in the field of Engineering Science.
    All the submitted research papers will be peer reviewed and accepted papers will be submitted for possible inclusion into the Scopus/UGC listed Journals.

    paper Submission Guidelines

    We call for unpublished and original research work on the conference tracks.
    1. There are two categories of publications:
    2. Category-1: Abstract publication - Submitted abstract must include title, author’s name, author’s affiliation, author’s e-mail address at the top and include 3 to 5 keywords. The length of the abstract is limited to 200-250 words (Font: Times New Roman, Size: 12, Line spacing:1.5, Alignment: Justify, Single column). The maximum similarity index is allowed upto 5%. Abstract will be published in AES conference proceeding. Authors may submit their abstracts to email address aes@smvdu.ac.in.
      Category-2: Full length paper publication - Submitted papers must include title, author’s name, author’s affiliation, author’s e-mail address at the top and include 3 to 5 keywords. The length of the full length paper is limited to 4-6 pages (Font: Times New Roman, Size: 12, Line spacing:1.5, Alignment: Justify, Single column). The maximum similarity index is allowed upto 5%. Full length papers will be published in Scopus/UGC listed Journals. Full length papers may be submitted through Easychair dashboard.
    3. Submitted abstract/full length papers will be reviewed on a double-blind, peer review basis.
    4. Full lenght papers must follow Vancouver style for reference citations.
    5. At least one author must be registered for their abstract/full length paper.
    6. The corresponding author will be solely responsible for the content of the submitted paper(s).
    7. The reviewers will evaluate the abstract/full length papers on the basis of its novelty, technical and scientific contents, originality and relevance to the conference tracks.
    8. Registration fee will be pay in form of Demand Draft in favor of HoD, School of Electronics & Communication Engineering, payable at SMVDU Kakryal or Katra and send the scan copy of Demand Draft to aes@smvdu.ac.in.
